FOOD IS ABOUT SHARING

In Thai culture, food is central to social life and often reflect values of sharing, community, and generosity. Meals are shared with multiple dishes enjoyed together to balance the flavours. Offering food is a sign of hospitality and it's common to invite guests to eat and has became a generic greeting in Thailand "กินข้าวมาหรือยัง" translating to "Have you eaten rice yet?" This shows how the Thai culture is closely tied to food sharing, hospitality and respect.
